Update of the Turbo Strategy Dashboard

Until now, the app dashboard showed your Turbo strategy portfolio value including the extra buying power added to it. The dashboard now shows the actual current value you’d get if you settled the strategy.

How the Turbo strategy works

This change only affects how the portfolio value is displayed for Turbo Buy and Turbo Buy Plus. These strategies add 60% extra buying power to your regular buy. That lets you buy more Bitcoin for the same amount. When you settle (close) the strategy, you return that extra buying power in fiat (EUR or CZK). The fiat equivalent of the buying power is deducted from the Bitcoin value, and the difference is credited to your account.

What the dashboard used to show

Until now, the dashboard showed a value made up of your buy amount plus the 60% extra buying power. The strategy detail screen already showed the amount you’d bought, the extra buying power, their total, and, importantly, the value you’d receive when closing the strategy, including all fees.

What the dashboard shows now

The dashboard now shows the current value you’d receive if you closed the Turbo strategy. It’s the exact value you’d have available after settlement. We made this change based on user feedback, and in line with our long-term aim of showing data in the app in a simple, transparent way.

What this means

The new display shows a lower fiat (EUR/CZK) and Bitcoin amount on the dashboard. This isn’t a drop in your portfolio value. That stays unchanged. You’re simply seeing the actual current available value instead of the value with the extra buying power added. All these figures were, and still are, part of the strategy detail screen. The change just swaps which numbers appear on the dashboard. Instead of “Total in Turbo Buy”, the dashboard now shows “Value you’ll receive after closing the strategy”.

A clearer way to see the numbers

We reorganised the layout and clearly separated two figures: the portfolio value calculated at Bitcoin’s current market value (section A on image), and the value you’ll receive after settling the strategy (section B on image).

We believe this new display makes it easier to track your portfolio value, and makes clear exactly how much you’ll have available after settlement.
